| Subject: [Tutorial]Report an MP Abuser [GCPH] Tue May 18, 2010 11:19 pm | |
| Okay Okay, Since a lot of players are encountering this kind of Incident I would like to make steps Countering it,
As time goes by, Many Players are using and abusing MP hacks on PVP which is so annoying because of infinite skill Spams, and Losing in PVP (Most Players lose when they encounter an MP Abuser)
Lets say that you've encountered an MP Abuser, don't let the chance pass by you should RECORD the round, and you can view it Later on the "Replay" Panel It is located right next to the "Practice Mode" button.
Here are the Steps 1st When you find out that the Player is Suspicious of an MP hack, just press the "CTRL + 1" in your keyboard
After the Round is finished, there will be a Confirmation that the Replay file has been saved
To confirm the name of the player/abuser, You have to go to server selection screen first. The "Server Bar" is located at the Upper-left of your Screen
Then click the "Replay" Button
Upon clicking the "Replay" Button, there will be a list of your saved Replay file Which has a file extension known as ".GCR" (Which means Grand Chase Replay) As you Notice that every replay file has different numbers written on it. to clear things out, the numbers, in my case is this "2010_ 3_ 3_14_12.GCR" The numbers means the date and time of incidence, In this format (2010_ 3_ 3_14_12) (Year_Month_Date_Hour_Minutes) Therefore the Incident occurred on March 3, 2010 at exactly 2:12PM(The clock is in 24 hours format) (Note: Not all replay files can be reviewed, because of the client updating every tuesday, so if you have a replay file that is very old you cant review it and there will be a a pop-up message that the file versions Doesn't match ) After you finished reviewing the Replay (Ofcourse now you knew the name of the abuser) We should be now ready to proceed to the next Step
2nd Locate the Replay file in your Grand Chase Folder In your Grand Chase folder, There is a folder named "Replay"
Ofcourse all your Replay files will be located and saved here. Copy the file to your Desktop to Prepare it for uploading or you can just manually go to the replay folder directory, for uploading purposes But before that, You should find a free file hosting site (e.g. Mediafire, Rapidshare, Megaupload, and etc.)
Now that you've done uploading it, save the link to the download page. Next Step~
3rd Go to the Costumer Support Site of the Level Up Games Click me for the Costumer Support Site
Log-in your Account, then press the "New Ticket" link
On the right panel Choose "Misconduct Report"
Type in the Infos that is needed to file a report
After filing a Ticket, You should wait for the LU to respond,
And if they are processing it, the status of your ticket is located in the "In-progress" link
And if the case has been resolved, It will be automatically be transferred in the "Closed" link
Heres a sample of a Report that an abuser has been Penalized and Proven Guilty
DONE!
If anyone has a question, Dont be Shy my thread is Noob-Friendly feel free to ask anything regarding the topic. Hope that I've Helped ^^
-------------------------------------------EDIT------------------------------------------- I was so dumb that I didn't realized that You see the links!!! I was covering my name but you can download my Replay files Which will be the Reason for everyone to see my IGN
I hope that no one downloaded my Replay files (I set my Replay files to Private)
